Brent’s love of teaching matches his love of drawing. He believes that learning to draw can transform the lives of students, enhancing how they think and how they see the world.
Before creating his bestselling, award winning online drawing courses he spent more than 20 years working with students in face to face classes through art studios, schools and museums. He spent these years cultivating the most effective ways to teach drawing. To date, Brent's award winning drawing courses have enrolled more than 750,000 students from students from 189 countries. Brent is a Top Teacher on Skillshare, has multiple Bestselling and Highest Rated courses on Udemy and is proud to teach courses through Stan Prokopenko's Proko platform.
Drawing is at the root of all of Brent’s creative work. He has studied numerous forms of drawing including architectural drafting, anatomical drawing and even more experimental forms of drawing explorations. He divides his work between traditional drawing, with a focus on the figure and contemporary creative explorations.

As co-owner, Sarah Fay takes care of the behind-the-scenes work that makes the courses possible. She handles the business side so Brent can focus on creating exceptional educational content.
Drawing on her background in libraries and student services, Sarah Fay has helped build and scale the business from a small in-person studio in Northern California to a global educational platform serving students in nearly 190 countries. She appears regularly on livestreams, manages student communications, and oversees the technical and business operations that keep the courses accessible to learners worldwide.
She believes deeply in the transformative power of drawing education and works to ensure that every student has the support they need to achieve their creative goals.
